  1. Funding for three laneway of I -20 through Lexington County was accomplished during the 2013 Legislative session through a one time appropriation that allowed the state to borrow / bond $500 million to accomplish this widening project in addition to several other congested hotspots in the state,We need to say THANKS to the leadership efforts of Senators. Nikki Setzler , Peeler and Leatherman !!! They made it HAPPEN !!! We need to continue addressing our interstate system, which is critical for commerce and tourism alike, but we also need to find additional funding for our local road congestion here and around the other hotspots in Lexington county. It is absolutely critical to our future economic prosperity !!!
