(WACH) – There was a bomb threat at Airport High School Tuesday morning.
Lexington School District 2 spokesperson Kay Joseph confirmed there was a bomb threat and said all the students were safe.
According to Major John Allard of the Lexington Sheriff’s Department, the threat was reported to the school’s resource officer around 11am.
The Sheriff’s Department along with SLED, Springdale Police and Cayce Department of Public Safety searched the school and surronding area and found nothing.
The bomb threat was written on the bathroom wall and the building was evacuated.
