Interns sought to help film S.C. movie

The South Carolina Film Institute is seeking college students to work in and guest star in the new movie “Proverbs.” This internship is an opportunity to expose college students and aspiring filmmakers to the Hollywood/New York Independent way of making movies and tv shows.

“Proverbs” is inspired by the true story of Christopher Pittman, the 11-year-old sentenced to 30 years in prison. The entire film will be shot in South Carolina.

Candidate qualifications: College student/ college graduate/young professional age 21-30), must love movies, must own computer, available 2-3 days a week (3-4 hours a day).

Intern duties: Learn to properly write and format different types of scripts, working on film sets, learn to market and publicize.
