JT’s Jeep-Chrysler-Dodge is headed to a 9.3-acre site along U.S. 378 a mile west of I-20 that’s closer to other dealers.
The new site was purchased for nearly $2.7 million, officials at commercial real estate broker NAI Avant said Monday. The dealership has outgrown the six-acre site it leases at U.S. 378 and Hope Ferry Road, a mile west of its new home.
The dealership is the second business to settle in one of the last major undeveloped tracts along the busy road in the steadily growing town of 18,000 residents.
It will be next to a Tomlinson’s warehouse outlet slated to rise on a tract that once had a lumber mill that was a local landmark.
